As much or as little as you’d like! You can wear a swimsuit, bra and panties, just panties, or full nude. Consider the purpose of your tan and your level of comfort being undressed in front of me. Also, keep in mind whatever you do wear will stain from the solution and you will have tan lines. If you are getting a tan for a vacation and plan to wear a minimal coverage bikini, I would recommend at most a thong style panty. If you are tanning for a wedding or event where most of your body will be clothed - a strapless bra and panties are fine. I also carry disposable nipple stickers if that makes you more comfortable with revealing your girls!

Your appointment actually starts before I even walk in the door. Read your tanning prep guide here.
Once I arrive…first, let’s say hello! We are going to be up close and personal during the 45min we are with each other so let’s work on becoming friends fast :) I’d love to hear about your family, your jobs, your hobbies and more! Beyond that I will get some information on goals of the spray tan appointment such as what depth of color you’d like and if you have any concerns or questions we can address before we start.
After that, you will undress to your level of comfort and place a cap over your hair. I will apply a barrier cream to the dry portions of your body (knees, elbows, heels) to help color evenness. I will have a spray tan pop-up booth set up for you to stand in. I will instruct you to move your body and position yourself while I tan. The tanning machine has a tolerable fan noise and the spray may feel a bit cold. I will mist your body by section. Once I am done with the tanning I may use a handheld fan to help dry off moist parts of your body. Once I am confident you are dry and your tan won’t run or smudge, you can redress in loose fitting, dark apparel. I will then clean up my equipment and supplies, discuss aftercare with you, and be on my way out the door so you can enjoy your day!

I recommend setting aside an area of your home where you will be unbothered for at least 60 minutes - send the husband, kids, and dogs off with clear instructions to give you some space! If you are tanning with friends, they are free to be in the tanning space if you are comfortable with an audience.
The tanning area will need to have hard flooring and enough walking space around all four sides of the spray tan booth (approx. 5’x5’ square). Well-lit bedrooms, basements, and large bathrooms work well.

This can depend on a number of factors. In general, tans will last 5-10 days. Keeping skin moisturized, avoiding shaving and exfoliation, amount of time spent in chlorine, number of showers, etc. will all play a role in the longevity of your tan. Because of this, I recommend tanning no more than 2-3 days before your special event or vacation. You can also extend the life of your tan by supplementing the end of its life with at-home self tanner.

Ugh - the WORST! Thankfully, your girl here is very familiar with this. To fix a few spots - mix lemon juice and baking soda to form a paste, rub into the spot and leave on for a few minutes. To remove a tan completely - mix baby oil and baking soda to form a paste and use the paste to exfoliate the skin and the tan off. If your tan is nearing the end of its life, it will start to look splotchy as it sluffs off. This is a great time to do a thorough body exfoliation, shave, etc. to reveal fresh tan-free skin.
There are also specific products sold to remove tanning products. I personally don’t have a recommendation in this department but if you find one you really like please let me know!
